AMORC clearly suggests that the Azores are remnants of Atlantean civilization. According to AMORC, Mt. Pico, during the times of Atlantis, ”was the highest mountain on that continent, and one of the highest peaks in the world.” Initiates of the Mysteries, each year, would make a pilgrimage to an altar created at the summit of the mountain, making the ascent in seven separate stages, each separated by one day. On the final day, they would reach the summit, where the sacred word, MATHREM, was carved on an altar in Stone.”
Discounting all the myriad details I have mentioned in this initiation, one basic question certainly stands out. Why the Azores?
With all sorts of people, historically and in the present, searching for Atlantis, why choose this specific spot? Again, is this strange, arcane knowledge drawn from the secret archives?
