Dear Pierre Freeman,
I am happy to share this experiment from AMORC with your readers. It is from an advanced degree.
As is true for entering into prayer, wash your hands and drink a glass
of water as a sign of physical and mental purification(harmless outside of a cult, this simple practice will become powerful “trigger” and will transform the life of ex-slave member into hell when they attempt to leave AMORC).
Retire to a quiet place, preferably your Sanctum(make no mistake here. From the Neophyte section members quickly learned the term “preferably” carry a whole new meaning in AMORC. For members do not have any preference and command are given under such cover word), and sit with your back straight, hands on your knees, and feet slightly apart, flat on the floor(again, harmless outside of a cult, this simple practice will become powerful “trigger” and will transform the life of ex-slave member into hell when they attempt to leave AMORC) . If you prefer, you can meditate while lying down. In this case, place your legs slightly separated and your arms alongside your body.
Relax for a few moments, after taking a series of deep neutral breaths,
and then recite the Celestial Sanctum invocation.
Then determine the purpose of your meditation. In other words,
determine whether it is to obtain the solution to a particular problem, to
receive revelations on a mystical subject of your choice, or simply to
commune freely with the Cosmic Consciousness.
Having done this, concentrate on the object of your meditation for a few minutes. If you want to obtain the solution to a specific problem, take the time to reflect on it. On the other hand, if your purpose is to receive
illumination on a mystical subject, such as a symbol, concept, or law, also
analyze it from an intellectual viewpoint.
After you have reflected on the object of your meditation sufficiently,
summarize the problem occupying your mind or the subject which interests
you in the form of a question. For example: “God of my Heart, what should
I do to solve this problem?” or as the case may be: “God of my Heart, teach
me about this subject.” As much as possible, visualize this question as
though you were writing it on a piece of paper or a blackboard. However,
if visualizing in this way seems too difficult, ask the question mentally or
in a soft voice.
If the sole purpose of your meditation is to commune with the Cosmic Consciousness and to benefit from the peace such a communion can bring, simply visualize yourself ascending in the Cosmic in a spiral, until you have the feeling that you are
one with the universe.
Whatever the content and form of your question, repeat it three times,
carefully concentrating on its meaning. Then forget it entirely and remain
in a receptive state. To help you attain this state inwardly, intone the vowel sound OM mentally or in a soft voice as long as you feel it necessary. If you feel that you can empty your intellect without making use of this vowel sound, refrain from intoning it during the passive phase of your meditation. Simply be receptive to any impressions you may receive.
Whether or not you are aware of having received an answer to your
meditation, close with the Celestial Sanctum invocation as soon as you feel
the desire or the need to do so. Then resume your usual activities(Here again AMORC leave the door open for failure and self blame, for according to AMORC if you do not get the answer to your request it is because you did not follow their instruction as given)
When the art of meditation is mastered, the desired answer is provided
during the passive phase and manifests quite clearly to the consciousness,
most often as a series of especially significant ideas. Otherwise, it can be
received many hours, even many days later, either as a dream, a vivid intuition, or an unconscious need to act in a certain kind of way. It is also
possible that the answer will be given through an encounter, a book, or
some other event capable of providing the required solution(Now member start seeing a sign and a message every where thinking that the Cosmic answer that come as a result of their AMORC exercise). Whatever the case, any meditation made using the technique just indicated is effective and will give good results some time in the future. Therefore, as is true of prayer, do not neglect this form of cosmic attunement(here one feel obligated to do the exercise), because it is a special source of knowledge and inspiration.
As indicated previously, we should not meditate only to obtain the
solution to a precise problem or to receive revelations on a particular
mystical subject. Meditation also allows us to commune freely with the
higher planes of Cosmic Consciousness and to benefit from the resulting
spiritual influx. In this instance, our meditation can be interpreted as a
contemplative state impossible to describe in objective terms in that it
transcends the thoughts and ideas normally occupying our mind. In this
transcendental state, the entire universe becomes our frame of reference
and we become one with anything our consciousness embraces or contemplates. In its ultimate phase, such meditation results in ecstasy-that is, a sublimation of the physical, psychic, and spiritual planes of our being. At that point we lose all identity and participate wholly in the nature of God. To summarize, we experience a transitory Illumination, and its impact remains
with us forever. This is our wish for you(again these statements are harmless outside of a Mind Control Organization).
F.K.
Comment on a Review of my book “The Prisoner of San Jose”-Reviewer (Sam Amenta -MA) gave 4 out of 5 stars
FYI to all my readers. My next project on AMORC will be emerging at some point in 2012.
I found this book to be quite interesting. No matter what one's opinion of AMORC is (and it seems everyone commenting has a strong opinion on AMORC) Freeman's journey seems typical for someone who feels marginalized and believes they will gain self worth by joining some kind of group.
