WHY ABORTION?

I now will try and speculate a bit about why AMORC makes such a big deal out of defending an argument about the beginning of life that would justify abortion. This had baffled me for awhile- because there is such an emphasis on the life beginning with the “first breath” and the fetus being simply a physiological appendage of the mother, without any soul.

As we proceed to Degree 3, No. 6 of the Initiate Section, we now move towards the consequences that theoretical ideas might have. I think this is most dramatically demonstrated in AMORC’s attitude towards abortion.
